Demonstrator: Alison Mount Title: Seasonal Inspiration

Members and visitors enjoyed this month's demonstration by Alison Mount who joined Old Windsor Flower Club in 1977 and has for the last 13 years been Chairman.  Also, she is the Area Vice-President and for the last 10 years as a Southern Demonstrator.

Alison gave members and guests a gorgeous collection of designs, inspired by autumnal colours of yellow, orange and red.  Her spider arrangement was magnificent with bright orange gerbera, against a black web, and will delight children for Halloween.  Alison is very fortunate, as she has a local recreational park where she forages for some very interesting foliage.  She also used roses, freesias, cyclamens and a multicoloured bunch of chrysanthemums.  To give textile to her designs, she incorporated conkers, reindeer moss and apples.  A stunning array of arrangements which certainly lived up to Alison's interpretation of 'Seasonal Inspiration'.

Our next virtual Club meeting is booked for Tuesday 23rd November starting at 7.45pm and is a National Floral Demonstration by Coral Gardiner entitled 'A Country Christmas'.  As this is a demonstration by a National Demonstrator, members and guests are very welcome for a fee of £5.00 and if  you would like to join us for this virtual event, please contact via email: info@fleetflowerclub.co.uk.
