The Wessex and Jersey Area of NAFAS is celebrating its Diamond Anniversary this year, since inauguration in 1961.

The Area had previously planned large celebrations with all member Clubs meeting up, but this obviously had to be scaled down due to the current Covid pandemic.  Therefore, regional tea parties were planned and Clubs in the north of the area held their event on Wednesday 4th August at the Holiday Inn in Winchester.  About 40 members attended the afternoon from the following Clubs: Alresford, Fleet, Four Marks, Frimley, Liphook, Winchester, and All Saints & Winchester.  The Area Chairman, Joan Gittings, and Area President, Janice Viveash, hosted the event and a good time was had by all as it was lovely to catch up with flower friends over a cup of tea and cake.
