Practice Evening Title: Beyond 3, 5 and 7
Our Practice Evening this summer was entitled 'Beyond 3, 5 and 7'. Members were encouraged to envisage a design and when considering how many flowers to use in terms of even numbers rather than odd numbers.
Suggestions were: to use a selection of sticks, canes or aluminium wire to make a structure to support flowers or attach flowers to the structure; to make a narrow upright design and place the flowers in even-number groups throughout; or to use a wreath ring and add even-numbered group of flowers an even number around the ring. As you will see from the following photos a variety of styles and arrangements were designed using this premise.
