The Club held a Christmas Wreath and Swag Workshop on Tuesday 3 December 2019 which was attended by 11 of our members.

Two of our Committee, Marina Dewey and Tracey Turkington, demonstrated how to make a foliage swag for the mantlepiece and a Christmas wreath breaking it down in to stages which made it easy to follow.

The group then went away to create their wreaths using a 12" wreath ring: covering it in moss;  wrapping it in a weatherproof backing; covering in blue pine and mixed garden foliage; and then finally decorating with ribbons and our choice baubles, cones, fruit or berries.

It was a very festive and joyful occasion and there was a wonderful smell of pine in the Hall.  Please see below some photos from the evening and the finished wreaths.
